A hard-nosed play from Lakers guard Dennis Schroder led to a scuffle in the first quarter of Tuesday’s Lakers-Raptors game in Tampa, which resulted in both OG Anunoby and Montrezl Harrell being ejected from the game.
Schroder wrapped up Anunoby in transition to try and prevent an easy bucket (and succeeded), and tried to catch Anunoby before he fell to the floor. When Anunoby got back up, his arm was wrapped around Schroder’s leg, and Schroder was flipped to the ground.
Harrell immediately rushed in to protect his teammate and was subsequently ejected along with Anunoby.

After the game, Schroder compared Anunoby’s reaction to a WWE move.
Schroder called the incident with Anunoby and O.G.âs reaction âunnecessary.â He fouled him hard to prevent points, but held him up to make sure he didnât get hurt. Said O.G. didnât âNeed to go WWEâ with it.
Schroder appreciated Harrell, which he told him in locker room.
