Watch: Mike Brey crashes class to promote game vs. Louisville

Here’s a coach who values the student body.

Since the current semester began at Notre Dame, Mike Brey has presented himself as a man of the students. We have seen him pass out tickets and toss T-shirts in dining halls and celebrate with the student section at Purcell Pavilion after wins. Now, he’s taken to dropping by classes to do both. At least he’s doing it in one class:

Brey obviously knows how important this game against Louisville is. With Duke losing its last game to Virginia, the Irish and Blue Devils are tied for the first in the ACC standings. An Irish win over the Cardinals would give the Irish first place outright in the conference. Say what you will about the quality of the conference this year, but that won’t matter to anyone wearing gold and blue if everything goes their way in this game.

By the way, what’s next for Brey? Is he going to knock on doors in students’ dorms? At this point, you can’t rule anything out.
