WATCH: Michael Gallup nifty TD shrinks Cowboys deficit in must-win game

Michael Gallup scores his fourth touchdown of the season for the Dallas Cowboys to cut the Philadelphia Eagles lead to four.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup is often forgotten given the company he keeps in his position room. Against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, he’s been the team’s best weapon. Despite the defense failing to hold up their side of the bargain, the Cowboys trail by only four thanks in large part to Gallup’s efforts.

On Dallas’s third offensive drive of the game, they faced a tough 3rd-and-9 from their own 38. Gallup fought off tight coverage, and holding, to reign in the ball and convert. Seven plays later he got open against zone coverage and scored from 21 yards out.

In addition to his two catches, Gallup also drew a pass interference on the first drive that led to the team’s first points via a Greg Zuerlein field goal. The Cowboys trail 14-10 with just over 13 minutes left.
