The Broncos vs. Jets battle for a win surpassed the, well, low expectations that fans had coming into the Thursday night clash. Denver improved to 1-3 on the young season behind an electric 43-yard burst from former Wisconsin Badger RB Melvin Gordon late in the contest.

Gordon finished with 23 carries for 107 yards and two scores, including the clinching run. The former Wisconsin star led the Broncos to their first win of the season, and dropped the New York Jets to 0-4 on the year.
