The Detroit Lions have lost two-straight games and a once promising season might be slipping away from them. In recent weeks questions have been raised about the health of quarterback Matthew Stafford, who has been missing recently on some deeper throws down the field.
Early against the Washington Football Team, he did not miss on this deep shot to Marvin Hall on this 55-yard touchdown:

Washington cornerback Kendall Fuller bites on the move from Hall at the top of his vertical stem, perhaps aided by the pump-fake from Stafford. Hall gets a great deal of separation after the fake, and Stafford drops in a deep ball to put the Lions on the board.
With rumors circling that Matt Patricia’s seat is getting warmer as Thanksgiving approaches, this touchdown might be welcome news for the Lions and their head coach. Perhaps it also puts to rest, for the time being, questions about Stafford’s health.
