WATCH: Mark Ingram talks about his 2020 offseason

Former Alabama RB Mark Ingram joined ‘NFL Total Access’ to discuss his offseason and what he hopes to see from the NFL ahead of the season.

Former Alabama Heisman-winning running back, and current member of the Baltimore Ravens, Mark Ingram, joined NFL Networks ‘NFL Total Access’ to talk about his 2020 offseason experience.

2019 was Ingram’s first season with the Ravens, he previously spent his first eight seasons with the New Orleans Saints. He finished the season, which came to an end at the hands of the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Divisional round, with 1,018 yards off of 202 carries for 10 touchdowns. He also added 247 yards and five touchdowns from 26 receptions.

Ingram spoke on ‘NFL Total Access’ about his offseason and his longing for the return of football, as long as it’s safe.

“I want to play ball, but I think it needs to be in a safe, an effective and in an efficient way,” says Ingram regarding the return of NFL football during the Coronavirus pandemic. “I know there’s standards and protocols and guidelines and all that to be sure everybody’s healthy and safe.”

He also spoke on his experience during this unprecedented offseason where facilities have allowed little to no access for players and personnel.

“It’s been strange, you know, but you have to be able to adapt and be able to get what you need to get done in a safe manner,” says Ingram. ” So, I’ve been training, I’ve still been working hard. You have to find creative ways to be able to find places to get your work in, but I’ve basically just been preparing and working to put myself in the best possible position to be in shape and have success this year.”

The former Crimson Tide running back also predicts how his team will perform in the 2020 NFL season and what role he plays in their success.
