Alabama’s true-freshman defensive back Malachi Moore came up with an interception that may have given Alabama the momentum needed to take down the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs.
Stetson Bennett IV’s pass was deflected almost 15 yards away from the line of scimmage, the redirected pass was then intercepted by Moore at the two-yard line. The freshman retured the interception to the Alabama 44.
From there, Mac Jones and the offense took over. A quick trip to the redzone, courtesy of a 34-yard pass to DeVonta Smith, led to a pass interference call against Georgia in the end zone, and ultimately concluded with a two-yard touchdown rush by Najee Harris.
The Crimson Tide now leads the Bulldogs by 10, 24-34.
