Lonzo Ball and the New Orleans Pelicans had a bit of fun during practice on Tuesday. The Pelicans tweeted out a clip from a part of the practice in which Lonzo Ball taking a pass from Brandon Ingram in a two-on-two drill and slamming home an emphatic dunk.
Ball let out a yell with the dunk and then had some fun with it. With Jrue Holiday under the basket during the play, Ball broke all social distancing rules to jokingly get in his teammate’s face and yell even more.
It was all done in good fun as the Pelicans look loose and ready for their first scrimmage of the restart on Wednesday.

Ball has been an active figure in practices during the abbreviated version of preseason the team has gone through. Last week, Ball was all over the court, particularly on defense. That high energy level could prove even more vital in the bubble environment that could see teams come out with lower levels of injury.
