WATCH: Lonzo Ball connects with Zion Williamson for first alley-oop in bubble

Lonzo Ball and Zion Williamson reminded fans and the league of their on-court chemistry with their first alley-oop inside the NBA’s bubble.

Lonzo Ball and Zion Williamson needed little time to get back in sync with one another inside the NBA’s bubble. The pair did not get a chance to play in scrimmage games together with Williamson outside the bubble for the better part of the modified preseason due to a family emergency.

Williamson was cleared to play in Thursday’s seeding game opener against the Utah Jazz after being considered a game-time decision, though he would only be available in short bursts. After just three minutes in the first quarter, Williamson took the court to start the second period alongside Ball.

The pair, who have developed an on-court chemistry that rivals any duo in the league, needed little time to remind the league and fans of that chemistry as Ball connected with Williamson on what is becoming a patented spin-move leading to an alley-oop.

The two sides continue to one-up each other in these connections. Ball’s pass is pinpoint while Williamson’s ability to spin, locate the ball and adjust for the dunk is equally impressive.
