The Minnesota Vikings rookie class wasn’t exactly productive this season. In fact, the only player they got much out of was second-round pick Ed Ingram, who played the sixth-most snaps at guard this season.
One player the Vikings were expecting contributions from was first-round pick safety Lewis Cine out of Georgia. On Monday morning, Lewis Cine posted videos to his Twitter account showing him running with resistance and working out at TCO Performance Center.
Unfortunately, Cine broke his ankle in week four against the New Orleans Saints and missed the rest of the season. He said he would be back for the 2023 season, which looks pretty good right now.
The Vikings could use his explosive, quick trigger at safety with Camryn Bynum just being okay and Harrison Smith getting older and being used outside of his best skillset.
