Jordan Fuller was mostly an afterthought as a sixth-round pick this year, given the Rams’ depth at safety with John Johnson and Taylor Rapp penciled in as starters. But Fuller has shocked everyone by becoming a starter next to Johnson, unseating Rapp before the season began.
He’s done so by making plays, too, and on Sunday against the 49ers, he pulled down his third interception in the last two weeks. This one came on a tipped pass by Aaron Donald at the line of scrimmage, with Fuller finding himself in the right place at the right time.
Take a look at the play, which helped give the Rams a 3-0 lead after Matt Gay converted a 48-yard field goal on the ensuing possession.
