Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt came up with the defense’s first takeaway of the 2020 season.
Against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 5 Sunday at NRG Stadium, on a fourth-and-1 from the Texans’ 8-yard line with 3:24 to go in the third quarter, running back James Robinson took the snap from the wildcat formation. Robinson moved to the right side, and then fumbled the ball. Watt fell on the ball and came up with Houston’s first takeaway of 2020.
The Texans moved the ball and quarterback Deshaun Watson capped off the drive with a 19-yard touchdown pass to Will Fuller to increase their lead 20-7 over Jacksonville.
