Former Alabama standout wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was a nationally-known name during his collegiate days where he was the 2018 Biletnikoff award winner and a human highlight reel. Now, in the NFL, Jeudy is still making headlines. However this time, not for something he’s done on the field.
Jeudy was drafted byt the Denver Broncos with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, the second wide receiver to be selected. With that draft position, the South Florida-native earned himself a solid contract without playing a down of professional football.
Yesterday, Jeudy showed off his love for his family.
In a video posted by Overtime to Twitter, Jeudy’s mom is given a phone with a video, pre-recorded by her son.
He tells her that he’s sorry he can’t be with her for her birthday due to his inability to travel because of the NFL’s COVID restrictions, but still wanted to give her a surprise present.
In the video, Jerry mentions he has told her he would buy her a house since he was younger.
