It’s hard to believe it’s been more than four years since nascent star forward Jaylen Brown joined the Boston Celtics upon the franchise drafting him third overall in the 2016 NBA draft.
Harder still to believe there were serious questions as to whether his intellect and diverse interests would detract from a team.
Since arriving in Boston, Brown has built his reputation on and off the court with constant effort and attention to detail, concern for others and putting others before himself.
This season, his on-court play made him a force to be reckoned with in the league, and his work for racial equity made him a force to be reckoned with, period.
In honor of his 24th birthday, the NBA put out a highlight reel of all of the Marietta native’s best plays over the four seasons on the books in Brown’s career to date.
