Bang: the New Orleans Saints receiving corps took over the third quarter of their game with the Los Angeles Rams, with slot receiver Jarvis Landry catching his first touchdown pass of the season and rookie wideout Chris Olave punctuating their next drive with a long touchdown reception of his own.
It was a vindicating moment for Landry, who has missed a lot of time this year with an injury and had become an afterthought in the passing game. And it was encouraging to see Olave reel in a 53-yarder after torching top Rams corner Jalen Ramsey and his safety help over the top. It’s exactly what we needed to see from both players. Now let’s see if they can sustain it.
