#Jaguars released a video of their Draft night, turns out that because the NFL required them to wait 7 minutes, they took their time to call @Trevorlawrencee. Once they tried it went to voicemail… 3 times

The Jacksonville Jaguars took their sweet time on draft night making the call to Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, and when they finally did, the superstar didn’t pick up.
Head coach Urban Meyer and company tried three times to reach Lawrence, but it went to voicemail every time (via Dov Kleiman). Both sides waited nervously with the clock ticking down, wondering what the other side was doing.
They eventually linked up, with plenty of time to turn the card in and make Lawrence the first No. 1 overall pick in Jags history.
Always check your numbers and keep your phone close by.
