WATCH: How Michigan State beat Ohio State according to head coach Tom Izzo

Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo met with the media and talked about the gameplan and how the Spartans were able to beat Ohio State.

Ohio State and Michigan State played an awfully physical game on Thursday night that felt more like a WWE primetime event rather than a free-flowing basketball game. It was ugly, and one that the Buckeyes couldn’t quite make enough plays down the stretch to pull out.

In the end, it was a huge win for a Spartan program trying its best to put enough quality wins together to find a way to get into the NCAA Tournament. For OSU, the loss delivers a big blow to an already shrinking possibility of a regular-season Big Ten Championship, not to mention the possibility of a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo was understandably very happy after the game and took some time to field questions from the media. He had some very interesting things to say about the gameplan against the Buckeyes and how his team was able to pull off the upset.
