Michigan State added to their 2022 class on Tuesday evening with three-star defensive end Chase “Simba” Carter announcing his commitment to the Spartans.
Carter is ranked as the No. 6 player in the state of Minnesota and No. 943 overall prospect in the 2022 class in 247Sports’ composite rankings. Carter held offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska and Central Michigan, but it was down to the Spartans and Hawkeyes in the end.
