The New York Jets spent the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft on BYU’s Zach Wilson, hoping he will prove to be the franchise quarterback that has long eluded them.
Wilson’s preseason debut against the New York Giants was full of promise, as the strong-armed signal-caller showed off many of the traits that enticed the Jets throughout the predraft process.
