It was a career-day on Sunday for Chucky Hepburn and Wisconsin needed every bit of it in their 75-71 NIT win over Liberty.
The Badgers advanced to the quarterfinals and will face Oregon on the road.
Hepburn had everything going on Sunday outside of his three-point shot, finishing with a career-high 27 points to lead the Badgers. He went 9-20 from the field and got to the free-throw line 11 times in the victory.
The Nebraska native got wherever he wanted against a solid Liberty defense and made plays down the stretch to keep Wisconsin’s season alive.
