Former Longhorn Marquise Goodwin is still making plays in the NFL.
With the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens locked in a close game late in the fourth quarter in Week 11, the Bears found themselves with a chance to take a lead. The drive had somewhat sputtered, and any chance at keeping their hopes alive came down to a 4th-and-11 play.
The Bears were having issues all game getting something going on offense, but former speedy Goodwin picked the perfect time to blow past the defense.
Quarterback Andy Dalton hit Goodwin in stride for the 49-yard touchdown that would give Chicago the lead with a little over a minute remaining in the game.

The touchdown gave Chicago the lead, but they were feeling aggressive after the huge play. Rather than taking the extra point, they opted to go for the two-point conversion, which they did not get.
The Ravens would go on to score a touchdown on their next possession and win the game.
Even in the loss, Goodwin had a fantastic game as he put up a season high in receiving yards, recorded his first touchdown of the season, and tied a season high mark for catches in a game. He was very much involved in the offense today, as he also saw a season high in targets.
Goodwin and the Bears will take on the Detroit Lions next week.
