Former Alabama defensive back Trevon Diggs was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. Now, in his second year, Diggs is a household name practically synonymous with “interception,” as he already has 11 on the season.
The Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic takes place in the AT&T stadium, which is the home of the Cowboys.
The official Twitter account of the Cotton Bowl shared a video of Diggs sending a message to his former team and wishing them luck in the CFP Semifinal game against Cincinnati.
