The No. 10 ranked Florida State Seminoles kicked off the 2024 college football season against ACC foe Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday.
The ‘Noles are favored after dominating the conference last year, looking to prove it wasn’t just a fluke. If they can have similar success, they won’t succumb to the same fate as last year thanks to expanded 12-team CFP which will include the champion from all four power conferences.
Florida State got off to a fast start on Saturday morning, getting a 28-yard touchdown run from running back Lawrance Toafili with 11 minutes left in the first quarter.

Toafili is in his fifth season with Florida State, and his touchdown was the 17th of his career and 13th on the ground.
The ‘Noles secured a two point conversation, so even after Georgia Tech responded with a touchdown of their own Florida State still holds an 8-7 advantage in the first quarter.
