When you think of new Tennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones, you think of a player who has had a sensational career, making highlight play after highlight play on offense along the way.
However, some of the qualities that make Jones so great on offense — speed, size, strength, hands and football IQ — also make him a great defender when called to do so following a turnover.
Don’t believe me? Just take a look at this defensive highlight reel of Jones from his time in Atlanta, which routinely shows him using every part of his impressive skill set in order to make plays on the other side of the ball.

The Falcons even deployed Jones in a “Hail Mary” situation in the playoffs, and he rewarded them by coming down with an interception.
We’d also like to point out that while there was a lot of hoopla surrounding Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf going the length of the field to chase down a defender in 2020, Jones had already been there, done that.
With Jones in Nashville, opposing defenders who are successful in creating a turnover will now have to worry about him, A.J. Brown and Derrick Henry chasing them down.
