Aaron Donald is a seven-time All-Pro, eight-time Pro Bowler and three-time Defensive Player of the Year. Now, he’s a Super Bowl champion.
Donald and the Rams took down the Bengals on Sunday night to win Super Bowl LVI, winning 23-20 at SoFi Stadium. Donald already had a Hall of Fame resume, but after adding a ring to his trophy case, his legacy has only improved.
After the win, Donald was asked what it feels like to be a champion – finally – after eight seasons. He was understandably emotional, fighting back tears to share his immediate thoughts on the victory.
“I’m just so happy,” Donald said, fighting back tears. “I wanted this so bad. I dreamed this, man. I dreamed this. It’s surreal. Look at this. Look at this. I feel amazing. I feel great.”

Donald was asked if he’ll consider retiring after winning Super Bowl LVI after Rodney Harrison said Donald told him he’d consider leaving the game, and while he didn’t definitively say he’ll be back, he said he’ll celebrate this win with his teammates.
It’s hard to imagine a player as good as Donald walking away in his prime after winning a ring, especially given how talented the Rams are moving forward.
