WATCH: E.J. Liddell tells Andy Katz what NBA scouts told him to improve upon

Hear what NBA scouts told E.J. Liddell to work on when he went through the NBA draft process.

Raise your hand if you were excited to learn that Ohio State power forward E.J. Liddell would be returning for another year in Columbus.

It was a big development, and although most thought he’d be back on the banks of the Olentangy when he tested the NBA waters, it was still positive news for what OSU has returning in 2021, especially considering Duane Washington decided to stay in the NBA draft.

One of the reasons Liddell decided to come back to the Buckeye program no doubt had to do with the feedback he got from NBA types when asked for information on what would make him a better overall prospect. We aren’t usually given a peek into what that feedback consists of, but Liddell sat down with the Big Ten Network’s Andy Katz and let the cat out of the bag.

Click on the below and listen to Liddell tell Katz about his need to improve conditioning, add a couple of percentage points to his three-point shooting, and more.

The Big Ten will once again be loaded with talented front-court guys, and Liddell will be one of them. If he can show the growth from year two to three in the program as he did from year one to two, the sky is the limit for him and the Ohio State basketball squad during the 2021-2022 season.
