One of our favorite prospects from the 2024 NFL draft was former Iowa cornerback Cooper DeJean. We loved his ability to excel at any spot in the secondary and his ridiculous athleticism. We also loved his willingness to stick his nose in there and defend the run.
When DeJean fell to the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round, it felt like a perfect fit. DeJean has quickly worked his way into the lineup and has become one of the Eagles playmakers in the secondary.
Lasst week against the Baltimore Ravens, DeJean made a showstopping tackle on future Hall of Fame running back Derrick Henry when he ignored the 50-pounds weight disadvantage and absolutely planted Henry in the open field. You can see the play below in case you missed it.

The Eagles secondary with DeJean as well as fellow rookie Quinyon Mitchell is in good hands for a long time
