With their third-round pick, the Miami Dolphins selected linebacker Channing Tindall out of Georgia. They then went to the other side of the ball in the fourth round, as they took Texas Tech wide receiver Erik Ezukanma.
General manager Chris Grier opted to double-dip at the linebacker position with their third pick, as the Dolphins drafted California’s Cameron Goode in the seventh round.
Goode met with Miami during the pre-draft process, and he impressed the team enough to earn a selection. Grier and head coach Mike McDaniel called the former Golden Bear to let him know that he would be a Dolphin, and you could hear the emotion in his voice.

Now, he’ll enter a linebacker room that’s full of veterans with a chance to make the 53-man roster at the end of the preseason.
