Former Alabama Heisman-winning running back Derrick Henry is one of the most unique beings to ever carry a football. He looks like a linebacker, but repeatedly is among the highest-rated rushers in the league.
One of Henry’s famous moves is the stiff arm, which is something that has landed him in headlines and highlight reels since his high-school days.
Sure, a stiff arm isn’t uncommon in football, but not in the way Henry does it. He manages to throw people down onto the ground with scary force; or he can launch a defender backwards five yards. It honestly just depends on what mood he is in.
In the past, we’ve seen Henry practice stiff arms by hitting a helmet attached to a stick. Now, Henry has upgraded to live participants. He is literally hitting three guys in the back of the head as he runs in a straight line.
