Former Alabama running back Derrick Henry has established a strong presence in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans after a strong 2019 performance that led his team to the AFC Championship.
Now, in 2020, Henry displays continued success by being a unique, large and quick running back.
His strength and speed were exemplified on one play during today’s Titans vs. Texans Week 6 matchup.
Down by two in the fourth quarter, deep in their own territory, the former Crimson Tide Heisman-winning back took a handoff 94 yards to the house to give Tennessee the lead, and put them in a position to eventually win the game in overtime.
Overall, Henry ran for 212 yards and two touchdowns off of 22 carries in the Titans 42-36 win over the Texans to improve the AFC South franchise to a perfect 5-0.
In his heroic run, Henry breaks through Houston’s defensive front, then out-runs three defensive backs to make it to the and zone for six.
