With the COVID-19 pandemic still requiring social distancing rules, NFL players have needed to get creative in how they train.
During phone interviews with Detroit Lions free agents, players informed the media of things they were doing to stay in shape. Some had weights and workout equipment in their home, while others ran streets in their neighborhood or hills in empty fields.
Lions’ wide receiver Danny Amendola is also putting in work during these unusual times and he took to Instagram to post a video of how he is catching passes in his backyard without needing to rely on someone throwing him the ball.
Not everyone can afford to have a robotic quarterback available to them, but it’s nice to see Amendola able to make the most out of a limiting situation.
