In the back of nearly every Oregon fan’s mind over the past couple of months has been the health of Ducks’ coach Don Johnson, hoping that he can make a speedy and full recovery from a medical emergency that was suffered earlier this spring.
Johnson had been in the hospital for quite a while following the medical emergency, and Oregon fans have only received limited updates as he works towards his recovery. The last we saw of him came on the night of the NFL draft when a video was released of Johnson celebrating the selection of Kayvon Thibodeaux, who went to the New York Giants with the 5th overall pick.

Now we are seeing Johnson up and standing alongside coach Dan Lanning, who appears encouraged.

There is still no word on the outlook for Johnson, or if he will ever get back into coaching, but at the moment all that is important is that he can get back to a normal life and have his health and happiness.
