Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney was having fun this weekend, but not just on the football field.
Hosting a loaded group of recruits over the weekend, Swinney showcased his skills on the basketball court. In a one-on-one with a recruit, Swinney drilled a fadeaway jump shot. Here’s the clip from three-star safety Robert Billings’ Twitter account.

Billings was one of 31 2023 recruits that officially visited Clemson this weekend, with five-star defensive lineman Peter Woods highlighting the group. All four of Clemson’s class of 2023 commits were also in attendance.
Although Swinney was caught on video, this isn’t the first time Swinney has taken the court, as men’s basketball head coach Brad Brownell has stated in the past that Swinney likes to shoot around.
“Coach Swinney does show up and play basketball,” Brownell said in 2018. “He’s not there all the time. He has other things to do. He shows up in the offseason.”
