Watch: Comedian tries to pretend he plays for the Rams, fails miserably

Comedian Trevor Wallace tried to pretend he plays for the Rams, but his lie to a fan in the grocery store went hilariously wrong

Trevor Wallace is a comedian who may not be the most recognizable figure while out in public, particularly with an older generation. So when he was in a grocery store wearing a Los Angeles Rams hat, another gentleman asked if he played for the team, claiming he looked familiar.

Wallace tried to play it off as if he did, telling the guy he plays for the Rams. However, things went sideways when the fan asked what number he wears. Wallace tried to think on his feet and blurted out the number 95, believing he might be able to pass as a wide receiver.

A knowledgeable Rams fan would know 95 is Bobby Brown III’s number, and Brown looks nothing like Wallace.

Needless to say, the fan is going to quickly learn he didn’t actually meet Bobby Brown when he looks up his jersey number.

Even Brown found the video hilarious.

If Wallace said he was Ben Skowronek, he might’ve gotten away with it. But there’s no chance he knew what jersey number Benny Skow wears.

Whether this is just a skit or not, it’s pretty darn funny.
