WATCH: Clemson rookie makes first career NFL interception, pick-six touchdown

Nate Wiggins was GONE!

Former Clemson Tigers star cornerback Nate Wiggins notched his first career NFL interception in the Baltimore Ravens’ regular-season finale Saturday vs. the Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium.

With 8:35 to play in the first quarter, Wiggins stepped in front of a Bailey Zappe pass intended for Browns receiver Jerry Jeudy and raced 26 yards for an interception return for touchdown.

Wiggins, a stud at Clemson from 2021-23 before being taken in the first round (30th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft, was playing in his 15th game for the Ravens this season. He entered the day with 12 passes defended and 32 tackles (24 solo, eight assisted).

At Clemson, Wiggins had a 98-yard pick-six against Drake Maye and North Carolina in the 2022 ACC Championship Game, a 39-10 Tigers win that sent Dabo Swinney’s team to the Orange Bowl in Miami. It was the longest pick-six in ACC Championship Game history.

During his final college season in 2023, Wiggins returned an interception 46 yards for a touchdown in the Tigers’ 48-14 win over Florida Atlantic.
