WATCH: Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill raced Terrell Owens, Chad Ochocinco

There was a G.O.A.T. race in Miami this weekend between Tyreek Hill and some NFL legends.

A race that has been years in the making finally happened over the weekend.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill is known as the fastest man in the NFL. Back at the 2018 Pro Bowl, Hill put out an open challenge to anyone who wanted to race him. Many have tried and few have succeeded to beat Hill in a foot race, including many talented NFL cornerbacks who try and keep up with him on Sundays.

A pair of former NFL stars have been yearning for an opportunity to race Hill and see if he truly is the fastest man in the league. Hill even recently issued a direct challenge to one of the two, none other than T.O., Terrell Owens.

The other player, former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Ochocinco, has been looking for an opportunity to race Hill since March of last year. He issued his challenge to Hill on Twitter.

This weekend the two former NFL receivers finally got their chance to race Hill as the three players gathered in Miami, Florida for a friendly race.

“Everyone, today is that day,” Hill said in a Snapchat video. “Terrell Owens has finally accepted my challenge. I’m in Miami, 2:30, it’s going down. He gets 10 steps and we’re racing 100 yards, man. It’s going down at 2:30. . .”

“Yessir, Cheetah,” Owens said in a video response. “I’m on my way. Best believe I’m on the way. Black cat is on the way. Hey, I am on the way. Let’s go.”

Ochocinco only gave us a teaser of a race between the three wideouts, but from the looks of it, Hill came away with the win. A race between Ochocinco and Hill on the track also appeared to favor of Hill. Now, Owens needs to set up another race, but this time with Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman.

Really, did anyone expect this to go any other way? Hill has been dusting players in the NFL since 2016 and he’s taken his offseason workouts to a different level this year. Despite his clear advantage, Hill still managed to come away surprised by the speed of one of the two former NFL stars.

At 46 years old, Owens impressed Hill enough that he believes he’s actually faster than some receivers that are currently in the league. Could a comeback be on the horizon? Probably not, but at least Hill is showing some respect to one of the greatest receivers to play the game.
