WATCH: Chiefs tease return to action in OTAs with hype video

The #Chiefs shared a video to get fans hyped up for OTAs and the work the team has been doing this offseason.

The Kansas City Chiefs are back in action on Wednesday, with players returning to team facilities for Organized Team Activities (OTAs) during Phase 3 of the offseason program. The team can now begin doing team drills, but with no pads and no live contact during this phase.

While we won’t get any local media look-ins until Thursday’s practice, the Chiefs’ in-house media team shared a hype video on social media showing a bit of action, likely some B-roll footage from Phase 2 of the offseason program. You get to see looks at several players in the weight room, such as Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Mecole Hardman, Willie Gay Jr. and even Patrick Mahomes. You get to see players running gassers as they prepare for their conditioning test with Tershawn Wharton and Travis Kelce leading the way.

There isn’t much in the way of a first look at the rookies, but you do get to see free-agent acquisition Justin Reid in Chiefs gear for the first time. Expect to see more from the team in the coming days as they begin to amp things up and build hype for the 2022 NFL season. For the time being, you can enjoy the hype video at the top of the page.
