WATCH: Chidobe Awuzie picks off Justin Herbert then heads to medical tent

Chidobe Awuzie with another fantastic play. However, he headed to the medical tent right after.

It has been some time, but former Colorado Buffaloes star Chidobe Awuzie once again made another play on Sunday.

The Cincinnati Bengals face the Los Angeles Chargers in a first half that belonged primarily to LA. However, with the half winding down, Awuzie made a beautiful play to come down with an interception on a ball intended for rookie Joshua Palmer.

Awuzie also picked off Aaron Rodgers earlier this season and continues to prove why he will remain a valuable piece for the Bengals’ defense going forward.

But, this play made by Awuzie was something special as he went up and fought hard against Palmer.

Oh, and let’s not forget, the former Buff picked off the former Oregon Ducks quarterback.

However, Awuzie went straight to the medical tent and appeared to be getting his ankle worked on after the fantastic play.

Now, Awuzie’s injury will be something to monitor.

Even though this is only Aquzie’s second interception of the season, one was of Rodgers (former Cal QB), and the other off of Herbert (former Ducks QB).

That is something, and this is a highlight-reel play by Awuzie.

Nonetheless, the former Buff continues to play well for a surprising Bengals team that suddenly has playoff hopes. Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase pace the offense, and the defensive unit is much improved with the big offseason signing of Trey Hendrickson as well.
