WATCH: Chase Young takes fumble recovery 47-yards for huge TD before halftime

Chase Young may have had the play of the game in the first half with a huge fumble recovery returned for a touchdown before the break.

If you had a Daron Payne-forced fumble recovered by Chase Young for a touchdown on your Bingo card, you officially win.

It was a slow first half for Washington, mostly due to the offense’s inability to score, but a huge play from Young and the defense right before the half made for a huge momentum swing in the game, when Young picked up a fumble and took it 47-yards for a touchdown late in the second quarter.

The fumble was forced by Payne, who had a strip-sack on QB Nick Mullens, who was rolling out to his right near mid-field. Young was able to scoop up the ball without going down and rumble down the field for Washington’s first touchdown of the day. This just adds to an already incredible day for Young, who had recorded both a sack and a forced fumble early on.
