Watch CeeDee Lamb’s impressive one-handed catch at Cowboys training camp

The future is certainly bright for Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb.

There wasn’t a lot that went right for the Dallas Cowboys last season, which included losing quarterback Dak Prescott to an ankle injury and finishing third in the NFC East with a 6-10 record.

But one of the lone bright spots from last season was rookie wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who the Cowboys got as a steal with the 17th overall pick. Lamb thrived with Prescott under center. But even after Prescott went down with an ankle injury, Lamb continued to make big plays for Dallas.

The Cowboys opened training camp in Oxnard, California, last Wednesday, and footage from practice has been trickling out on social media. But there was one catch from Saturday’s practice that turned heads as Lamb went across his body to make a one-handed grab while being covered by second-year corner Trevon Diggs. It was the kind of athletic play that Lamb makes look easy.

Last year as a rookie, Lamb had a rookie franchise record 74 receptions for 935 yards and five touchdowns — and that was with Andy Dalton under center for most of the year. With a healthy Prescott returning for 2021, Lamb’s production is expected to increase for the Cowboys.

NFL fans will surely see plenty of Lamb this summer as the Cowboys will be featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks, which premieres Aug. 10.
