Cornerback Anthony Brown has missed the Cowboys’ previous three games with a rib injury. He looks to have helped seal the win in his return to action with his first interception of the season. Running back Tony Pollard, making his first start in place of the inactive Ezekiel Elliott, applied the presumable dagger with a 40-yard touchdown run just moments later.
Brown made his play on a second-down pick of a Nick Mullens pass just as San Francisco appeared set to cross midfield down by three points.

Pollard, the second-year product out of Memphis, scored his second touchdown on the afternoon on a 40-yard sprint on which he broke a four-way tackle by the 49ers defense.
