It was a fitting final night for Braelon Allen’s freshman season as the Badger running back was named MVP of the Las Vegas Bowl.
Allen paced Wisconsin to a 20-13 win over Arizona State where he racked up 159 rushing yards on 29 carries. As a team, the Sun Devils only finished with only 60 yards on the ground.
It was a sensational and surprising freshman campaign for Allen, who came into Wisconsin expecting to play on the defensive side of the ball and finished his first year as one of the best running backs in the country. Here is Allen’s reaction to Wisconsin’s win immediately after the game:
