WATCH: Boston’s Al Horford talks about the growth of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum

The Florida product has had a unique perspective on the duo as a teammate, opponent, then teammate again.

Veteran Boston Celtics big man Al Horford has had a unique perspective on playing alongside two of the NBA’s brightest young stars since they came into the league. He’s since faced them as they began to spread their wings, only to reunite with them as teammates when the Celtics brought the University of Florida product back into the fold by trading star point guard Kemba Walker to the Oklahoma City Thunder this past summer.

We are of course talking about Boston’s two All-Star forwards, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, who Horford has been a teammate, friend, and mentor of over the years, even from afar while with the Thunder and Philadelphia 76ers before that.

The Celtics fan favorite spoke with Chris Forsberg and Adina Smith of NBC Sports Boston recently about his experiences playing alongside the rising Celtics duo, as well as his favorite cereal and more.

Check out the clip embedded above to hear Horford’s thoughts on seeing Brown and Tatum come into their own.
