The last time you may have noticed former Villanova star Ryan Arcidiacono was during his 2016 NCAA title run with the Wildcats under famed head coach Jay Wright. You might even have gotten an occasional peek at his skills during a contest against the Chicago Bulls in recent years, but if you are like most Celtics fans, you don’t have an especially large body of work to draw on when you heard the news Arcidiacono would sign a training camp deal with the Celtics.
But the Philadelphia native is a legitimate NBA point guard if still unpolished, with career averages of 4.8 points, 2 boards, and 2.2 assists per game with a 37.3% 3-point shot.
If you want to get to know his game better, watch the video embedded below put together by fan-favorite YouTube videographer Tomasz Kordylewski ahead of the former Bull’s fight to make the roster in the Celtics’ 2021-22 training camp.
