While his current season in the Israeli Premier Basketball League may be drawing to a close, it can be hard not to think about the future of Boston Celtics stashed 2020 NBA draft prospect Yam Madar after another flashy game with his current team, Hapoel Tel Aviv.
In a recent contest against Ness Ziona that saw the Beit Dagan native put up a very respectable 27 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists and a steal over 37 minutes of game time. While it came in a 113 – 89 blowout loss, Madar might not have to suffer on as one of the best players on a bad team much longer, pending the Celtics plans with him next season.
While it might require a substantial buyout, Madar has made a convincing case for making the leap to the NBA with a very solid 2020-21 season behind him.
