The Buffalo Bills came back and topped the Arizona Cardinals, 34-28, in their 2024 NFL season opener.
At one point, the Bills (1-0) trailed 17-3. Buffalo managed to change the tide of the game in the second half en route to the win.
In speaking on the field with CBS Sports following the victory, Bills quarterback Josh Allen noted how it was a “resilient” effort.
“They’re not always going to be pretty,” Allen said.
Allen was asked about his hand injury, too. We now know he will play in Week 2 against the Miami Dolphins. But for those curious, this was Allen’s first update on the issue.
