Dalton Kincaid was oh so close… twice.
Kincaid, in his first game since Dawson Knox (wrist) was placed on injured reserve making the rookie the Bills’ clear No. 1 tight end, he was stopped twice on the goal line.
Kincaid caught a shovel pass in the first quarter against the Buccaneers in Week 8 from quarterback Josh Allen. Kincaid went down just inches short of crossing the goal line.
Then on the ensuing fourth down, Allen threw a pass to Kincaid which was batted down.
Third time’s the charm.
On another red zone snap, Allen scrambled to his right and found Kincaid down the field. Kincaid strolled into the end zone for his first of hopefully many touchdowns in the NFL.
