WATCH: Bill Belichick talks shop with playmaking TCU RB

Bill Belichick made a point to interact with running back Kendre Miller at TCU’s Pro Day.

Bill Belichick was busy at TCU’s Pro Day on Thursday, and he even was able to talk some shop with potential draft picks. One player in particular he spent time talking to was TCU running back Kendre Miller.

Miller had a breakout year for TCU last season. He carried the ball 224 times for 1,399 yards and 17 touchdowns. He also played a small role in the passing game, catching 16 passes for 116 yards.

All told, he had 1,515 scrimmage yards and 17 touchdowns.

Miller also showed he could play at a high level when the lights were brightest. He had 17 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Big 12 Championship Game against Kansas State. He then followed that up with eight carries and 57 rushing yards against Michigan in the College Football Playoffs semifinals.

Running back is a position that New England has seemed to focus on this offseason. They added James Robinson to the room and, subsequently, lost Damien Harris to the Buffalo Bills.

Miller could be an intriguing target for an offense that looks to be more explosive in 2023.
