Two Texas Longhorn stars got together on Saturday at the Dell Match Play tournament at the Austin Country Club.
Texas running back Bijan Robinson was on sight to watch Scottie Scheffler advance to the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Scheffler made a late comeback against J.T. Poston to win his matchup with a par on hole 18. Scheffler is looking to defend his event title from a season ago.
The world No. 1 played four years at Texas before turning pro in 2018. Since then Scheffler has reached the top of the golf world, winning eight PGA tour tournaments including the 2022 Masters.
Robinson is coming off a storied career playing running back at Texas as he prepares for the NFL Draft. Bijan finished as a top-five rusher in school history and won the Doak Walker Award as the nation’s best running back in 2022.
