The Jacksonville Jaguars spent the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft on Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, hoping he could be the franchise passer to turn their fortunes around.
Despite a rocky 2021 season, for many reasons that had nothing to do with Lawrence, the highly touted rookie delivered some flashes of brilliance that should give Jags fans plenty of reasons to be excited for the future.
There’s obviously plenty of room for improvement, as Lawrence experienced his share of rookie struggles, but the future is still extremely bright for this talented field general.
